KAY SNELL
Ms. Snell graduated from Youngstown State University with a Bachelor of Music Education degree and from Vandercook College of Music with a Master of Music Education Degree. She has taught at Garfield High School for the past 7 years conducting the Marching Band, Concert Band and Jazz Band. Previously she taught at Jackson High School for 14 years, Jackson-Milton High School for 15 years, as well as the Girard City Schools for 1 year as an elementary band director. She has been a member of OMEA (Ohio Music Educators Association), American School Band Directors Association, and has served as adjudicator for OMEA Large Group and Solo-Ensemble and as contest chairman numerous times. In addition she has served as a guest conductor, band clinician and band consultant.
